A celebration of Flash film featuring contributions from some of the best and brightest animators around, Maple Shorts is series of animated shorts covering every conceivable illustrative style, tone and theme. Originally conceived as a national, Flash-based animation festival, Maple Shorts presents world-class work from both established studios and amateur enthusiasts.

Between shorts, our bickering hosts Canuckles and Sela provide humorous, over-the-top commentary as only a pair of animated aquatic animals can. Canuckles is a cranky, conceited Canada goose who always wanted to direct, but settled for criticism - which he delivers in droves. His bubbly and flippant co-host, Sela the salmon, provides a gentle contrast to Canuckles' tirades. Each film ranges from 4 to 6 minutes in length and provides a fun, lively and unique experience for kids.
