Five years ago, an evil scientist named Dr. Pin was finally locked away after years of trying to take over the world. Now he's out on parole, adrift in suburban world he knows nothing about. And as a condition of his release, he can never again invent anything remotely evil. What's a washed-up, megalomaniacal supervillain to do?

Well, this one's gonna get a job. Unfortunately, in this post-Cold War world, a scientific genius like Pin can only find work at the local cosmetics factory. But as he slogs through the daily rat race, he can't help but invent maniacal, over-the-top solutions to life's everyday obstacles. Needless to say, this often gets him into even more trouble.

Dr. Pin means well. He wants to please his authoritarian boss, his humourless parole officer and even his cynical, omni-pierced grandnephew, Bobby Pin. But old habits die hard, and as far as Pin can tell, the Earth has not yet been conquered. But hey, someone's got to do it.
