March Entertainment's flagship production, Chilly Beach was first broadcast on CBC Television in September 2003, quickly winning its timeslot among children's and youth programming.
Building upon this momentum, the show has gone on to receive two Gemini nominations for Season II (26 episodes) and production is currently underway for Season III. Several celebrities have jumped on board to provide voice talent for the show, including William Shatner, Joe Flaherty, Leslie Nielsen, and David Suzuki.
This series traces the adventures of the residents of Chilly Beach, a small, unsuccessful Canadian resort community somehow built on a drifting ice floe in the far north. In particular, it follows Dale and Frank, two beer-loving, hockey-obsessed best friends. This is a town where all of the common misconceptions about life in Canada are true. From the brutal year-long winter, to the over-the-top polite passivity, to the almost religious preoccupation with hockey, this is our country as we think the world sees it.

The Chilly Beach website was launched in 1998, quickly garnering industry accolades throughout the online world as an innovative, creative and engaging website. As a complement to the show, chillybeach.com features multimedia episode guides, exclusive "webisodes" and a broad range of fun and original games, including our wildly popular "Great Canadian Trivia Shootout."
This cutting-edge Flash site has won such awards as 2003's Shine! The Best of Canadian New Media, the 2000 Gold Medal at the Digital Marketing Awards, and the 1999 "Most Entertaining Site on the Web" from RealNetworks' Streamer Awards. When Chilly Beach expanded into television, it marked the first time an Internet property was picked up by the CBC.
