Was there a time when the George W. Bush we all know was young, innocent, and idealistic? Well, there was a time when he was young.
This is the story of that time, as young Georgie Bush tries to put himself through college and find his way in the world. He's the same George W. Bush we all know and a few of us love. Except younger and slightly more naive. Still bullheaded, dimwitted, socially inept, geographically and historically ignorant, and possessing only a rudimentary understanding of the English language. All he wants is to figure out his purpose in life. He's pretty sure he's not smart enough to be president, so there's gotta be something… — anything else.
Along the way he has to contend with his annoying roommate Saddam, an exchange student from Omaha (or so he claims, despite his Iraqi army uniform and Middle Eastern accent). He's sly and manipulative, pretending to be helpful to Georgie while underhandedly plotting against him. And he always seems to have a prisoner or two tied up under his bed awaiting interrogation. But at least he doesn't play his music loud.
Add to all that the sly machinations of his career counselor Mr. Cheney and the constant demands of that voice in his head named God, and Georgie's going to have a crazy old time figuring out his place in the world.
