Jon Izen's Black and White to Promote Kids' Cannes
Sudbury, February 26, 2008 — Black and White, Jon Izen and iLaugh.com's zany animated microseries, will be the guest of honor at the New York International Children's Film Festival (NYICFF), North America's largest kids' film fest.
The seconds-long series of cartoon shorts, featuring two shrill, monochrome squares named David and Steven, will not only be used to introduce the Festival, but also in custom broadcast ads to promote it. The ads will air on Time Warner channels throughout the duration of the fest, which runs from Feb. 29 through to March 16.
New clips of Black and White will also appear in the NYICFF as part of its animated shorts schedule. Izen is currently animating and recording a slate of 75 new Black and White clips, a process which he says has done "crazy things to my voice box."
The new ads are now available for viewing on iLaugh.com, March Entertainment's online comedy portal and home of Black and White.
