Yam Roll Arrives Down Under on ABC Kids
Sydney, April 13, 2007 — March Entertainment's The Very Good Adventures of Yam Roll in Happy Kingdom has found a new audience, airing on the Australian Broadcasting Corporations ABC Kids programming line-up.
Yam Roll, which previously aired on CBC-TV in Canada and the Cartoon Network in the United States, is a wacky animated series about a land of anthropomorphic sushi. It is slated to begin airing on ABC2, Australia's national digital television channel, in the second quarter of 2007.
The deal was secured by Southern Star International, which owns distribution rights for the March Entertainment properties Yam Roll and Chilly Beach outside of North America.
